Portsmouth Disability Forum have made the difficult decision to wind up the charity following several years of reduced funding against a background of increased costs. The Board of Trustees wanted to ensure that that the voice and needs of those who experience disability are heard and addressed and are working with HIVE Portsmouth, to seek ways of providing access and inclusion for all in the life of the local communities and city.
What this means for PPV is that not only will we have a new location which is to be confirmed HIVE Portsmouth will take on the role of supporting PPV, this will provide access to more support within the community for our families.
PPV understand the importance of the PCF and our services are continuing to run as normal and we will keep you all updated as an when we are given information.
