This Saturday, 24th February, at very short notice, Portsmouth Disability Forum (PDF) is hosting a free session for young people aged 12yrs – 25yrs their parent carers and anyone else who works with SEND families.
We are so excited, and very fortunate, to be welcoming Steve McGuiness, who himself has an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). He is an inspiring speaker who talks from a personal perspective. He has changed the hearts and minds of many who have heard him speak.
Janet Gurney – having over 30 years’ experience in this field, wants to share her knowledge and expertise – on how to communicate and relate more closely with children and young people with profound learning disabilities and complex needs, including Autism.
We are very lucky to have this opportunity to hear first-hand from both of these nationally recognized speakers. This is an event sponsored by In Control and is therefore is FREE to all who attend. Lunch and refreshments will be included so do let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
Places are very limited, so if you would like to attend please either text or call 07825185608 or email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible!
