Portsmouth Parent Voice - PPV- is part of the voluntary sector and is supported by the Local Authority and the Department for Education.  We are under the umbrella of Portsmouth Disability Forum, who are a registered charity.

Our main aim is to promote parent participation and engagement and enable parent carers to change the way local services are commissioned and delivered.

We provide full training and pay for travel expenses and childcare costs...

...and we also have a lot of fun!

If I Had A Magic Wand event

Date: Thursday 8th December
Time: 10am – 2pm
Place: Frank Sorrell Centre
Prince Albert Road, Southsea
Portsmouth PO4 9HR

To celebrate Christmas, we will be holding this event on Thursday 8th December. The aim of the session is to find out from you, if we lived in an ideal world, what would make the biggest difference to your child, young person and your family and whether we can come up with practical solutions to make it happen.

We will also have an activity to create your own "Worry Eater" to help with anxiety issues as many children are affected by it. We talked about "Worry Eaters" at our anxiety workshop back in October so if you want to find out more about them, please follow this link: http://www.auntyagathas.co.uk/worry-eaters-1/

As it will be nearing Christmas, we will have some mince pies (and maybe some mulled wine!).

Looking forward to seeing you then!
